Hi! I'm Patti Clark and welcome to PJ Clark Designs!

The purchase of a handcrafted bracelet, a beading magazine and a bead stringing class and I was hooked!

When designing and crafting jewelry, inspiration is everywhere. Combinations are endless; from the rich colors and textures found in clothing and fabrics, to the colors that abound in nature. The Lord has created a beautiful color palette. Other places I've found inspiration from are Kleenex boxes, wall paper samples, paint sample swatches and a box of crayons.

One of my favorite childhood memories is playing with plastic "pop beads." Remember those? I saw some in an antiques store! I enjoy going to flea markets, antique stores and anywhere vintage beads and jewelry might be sold. The patina of these lovingly worn pieces from ages past is beautiful. I like to incorporate vintage beads into my designs.
